After a vote, Parks Place Pub in Fishers was chosen as Indy’s Best Sports Bar.
The bar has been open for less than a year but is already a hit with the community.
Sherman stopped by to chat with co-owner Matt Schlueter.

INDIANAPOLIS — City leaders broke ground at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail on Friday, announcing that construction of the trail’s expansion will begin later in the month to better connect the cultural districts and neighborhoods along the downtown stretch.
“Residents and visitors alike are going to have an easier, a safer and a more beautiful path to travel as they enjoy the wider downtown area,” said Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.
INDIANAPOLIS — For people looking to get some shopping done for the holidays, next week might be the time for it. The Christmas Gift and Hobby Show is opening November 10 at the State Fairgrounds and will close on the 14th.
300 vendors from across Indiana will be selling items ranging from children’s toys to holiday decorations. Santa Claus will even be present for pictures and a live stage will host entertainment all day for families of all ages. People can even go through a train set up to look like the Polar Express.
CHICAGO (WGN) — A Chicago police officer has been charged in the shooting death of her husband, who was also an officer.
Jacqueline Villasenor, 39, faces one count of involuntary manslaughter, according to officials.
